I recently stayed at Pousada Terras Altas, drawn by its promise of luxury and value. The Pousada's setting amidst nature provided a tranquil escape, perfect for unwinding. The staff's warmth and hospitality, coupled with excellent meals, made for a delightful stay. However, the representation of room views fell short of expectations, later improved by an upgrade to a Suite with a private garden view.Though some amenities like airport shuttle service were missing, the presence of a private wine cellar and pet-friendly environment added to the charm. The pool area, with its natural water feature, was a rustic oasis to relax in. The surrounding village of Maua offered additional dining options.In weighing the costs, while the Pousada delivered on certain luxuries, opportunities for improvement exist in accurately portraying room features and enhancing available services. For travelers seeking a serene retreat surrounded by nature, Pousada Terras Altas offers a decent blend of value and luxury.
